YM's second string will start life in division 2 next season after finishing second in division 3 this season. At one point it looked as though the Rapids could go unbeaten and win the league with record points, but a fixture backlog caused by cup success put paid to that as they faced 14 games in 5 weeks. Turnpike Sports took the honours but the Rapids are sure to be hot on their tails next season and out for revenge.

Manager Paul O Boyle said 'we have already beaten division 2 and division 1 teams this season and proved we can match them on the day but you need consistency over the course of the season and we are looking forward the challenge. I'm adament we would have won the league this season but were victims of our own success in the Berks and Bucks cup'
