YM First team begin the season with a tough away trip to last seasons champions Westwood at Cotswold Rec. The first set of fixtures have thrown up some interesting encounters mainly due to the fact they are midweek and therefore need to be relatively local.

YM then travel to Woodley Town on saturday 6th for another stern test, and finish the first set of fixtures with a home game against Royal Mail. YM will be in for some stern tests this season as the league is destined to be a tight affair once again. Manager Mark Lemm commented 'I always knew we'd get a tough start as the league keep the fixtures local for the midweek games with makes sense. My players are ready and more than looking forward to challenging for honours this season, and that involves going up against the best'

The Rapids open up with a home tie against Compton at Pangbourne. YM's second string begin life in division 3 after the league did some restructuring over the summer and this is bound to be another test and step up in the Rapids quest for glory. The full fixtures are as follows:
