YM Rapids celebrated picking up the team of the month award with a comprehensive win over last years beaten cup finalists Woodley Town A. Boss Paul O Boyle went in to the game with a makeshift side consisting of no less than 4 forwards and it came as no surprise when Woodley took the lead with a 25 yard scorcher.

The Rapids were soon back in to it when Abery tapped home from 6 yards after poor Woodley defending.. Abery made it 2 with a cool first time volly to put the young men in front. Woodley made a spirited fightback but couldn't find a way through YM's mean defence, and it was left to Dan Sutzenberg to put the gloss on the win with a headed finish to make sure the Rapids stay unbeaten in the league

Boss Paul O Boyle quipped: 'we have had a strange 2 weeks with all sorts of players missing and I have had 2 very random squads but we have also produced 2 excellent results and we are looking forward to mounting a challenge on the league and cup fronts'
